I applied for a job which asked for a specific qualification which I have and the closing date came and went . Job was then re-advertised without the qualification . The job has went to someone who is known to be very close to the manager who interviewed for it and basically I have been told by the last post holder the whole thing has been fixed so the managers friend could apply for it and get it . Is there any way I could raise this with HR or anyone ? It’s public sector the job is in and basically it’s an open secret this type of thing goes on in my department but hasn’t impacted on me until now .
