Bank Holidays During Mat Leave

Does anyone know what happens to bank holidays during mat leave? I have just returned to work after 9 months of mat leave. We have timesheets, and every day has been put down as maternity pay apart form the bank holidays which have been put down as bank holidays. I have got my accrued annual leave entitlement listed, but haven't had any accrued bank holidays added (presumably because they have already been 'taken' as they are on my timesheets.

Are my work wrong? Am I supposed to accrue bank holidays as well as annual leave when off or do they get taken when off anyway?

You're supposed to accrue them too. You can't be having bank holidays at the same time as maternity leave

You accrue your bank holidays. I tagged them onto the end of my mat leave with all the annual leave I'd also accrued.

Yes, you accrue bank Holidays while on maternity. They carty forward for yiu to use in the future, similar to unused annual leave.

They need to change their process. Who on earth has entered that onto your timesheets for you? They should be re-trained.

You can't have taken the bank holidays because you were out on maternity leave.

There's no "hopefully" about it - say it needs to be fixed so that you can take the 9 missing days.
