Has anyone set up a professional network?

That question really. I work in a industry where there are lots of groups but nothing to support the specialism that I work in. I'd quite like to set up a networking forum with other women in my field but not sure where to start! Anyone else done anything like this?

I'd start with a Facebook group... Then you can organise digital or in time physical meet ups and events with speakers
