Career counsellors

Has anyone on here used a career counsellor? Would you recommend it? I have a right dog's breakfast of a CV (high flying career in science, mid 30s career change, long period of SAHM-ing, live abroad) and I would really appreciate a bit of help identifying a next move. I also need a bit of hand holding, as it's all been a bit difficult, and I have confidence issues, and I need the counselling bit as much as the carrer bit IYSWIM.

Your CV sounds varied and interesting - it sounds like you’ve generally followed what you wanted to do in life, which is something a lot of people might envy! But I can see why the next step may not be immediately obvious for you.

I’m a career coach and may be able to help you. While I don’t offer counselling, I do specific work to help individuals raise their confidence and I’m very supportive. As a starting point, Id like to offer you a free half hour call just to chat and listen to how things are for you right now, and during that call we can also talk about how I can help you. If you drop me a private message with your availability I can book you in. Feel free to ask any questions as well x
