Emailing resignation/ do I do anything else

Hello

I emailed my notice of resignation to my line manager recently, I gave my notice period plus a week.

I’ve also texted (as is acceptable in my workplace) to notify them that it’s sent.

Do I need to do anything else? This same manager took a very long time and multiple reminders to send a reference and I’m concerned they won’t action it and then it will screw up my leaving (this may be irrational)

Can anyone advise, my contract literally states nothing about the process of resignation just states the notice period
