Redundancy Payroll - please help I’m stuck

I was made redundant at the end of the month. I received furlough pay at the end of the month but did not receive x2 months notice pay and 13 days holiday.

I was subsequently paid some money about a week later however the payslip states the 30th of the following month which is not the correct date.

Is this normal ? The reason I ask is because as the dates are wrong it’s stopped me from claiming benefits.

Please can an accountant or payroll person advise if someone gets paid on say 5th month is it acceptable for an employer to say they were paid on 30th a few weeks later? Confused

Thank you for your help

Sounds like you were paid twice in one calendar month but over 2 separate tax months.
Date on payslip will just be a processing date and potentially the leaving date could be changed on your P45 dependent on what type of software is used. Try asking payroll Smile
UC claims get get royally buggered up like this and tbh most payroll people wont be thinking about it. For tax purposes it will most likely be correct.
Its shit though.

I was made redundant on 28th however payslip stated 30th. I got furlough only in this payment.

Then on 5th I got some money but payslip is dated 30th. Is it allowed to use entirely the wrong date on payroll slips

What date are you normally paid on and is it sage payroll they use do you know?

Your P45 should show your actual last date of employment, which is what benefits etc go on, not the last date of physical payment.
