Is emailing too much

I interviewed for my DREAM job 6 weeks ago... after a successful interview I was unsuccessful in securing the job.

However, I was told somebody was leaving in a couple of months and that role was mine if I wanted it - no interview needed. She said she would call nearer the time to see if I was still interested.

So it’s now been 6 weeks and I’m anxiously waiting for the call, is it too much to email her and let her know I would still like the job or do I wait a few more weeks to see if she calls?

Seems childish i know but never gone through this Blush

I'd email her, what have you got to lose at this point? In the worst case scenario and they've changed their mind or the job isn't available then at least you'll know, if they've just forgotten or are being slow then you'll give them a nudge. Just be polite and keep it brief, and don't pester if they then don't reply...

I think an email to let them know you are still interested would be fine. It would be a shame to miss out if she forgot she was going to call you or thinks you'll no longer be available.

Yes, definitely send a brief email just to confirm you are still available. Good luck!
