I was on furlough from May until The end of August 2020 when I was made redundant. In September I tried to claim benefits but was unable because my now former employer gave real time information stating I was paid at the end of September. I never received a penny from my former employer at the end of September. I submitted this information to UC and they have forwarded the information to HMRC.
Anyway I have had to raise an employment tribunal claim for unpaid wages and have now found out that they have claimed the furlough under ANOTHER company name not the one I was employed by. In addition during the furlough period they set up a THIRD COMPANY as an LLP.
The more I look at this the more dodgy it looks. My claim is against my employer, my boss, the new llp but is not against the company that did the furlough claim as I never knew this company existed.
What do you think. Does this look really dodge to you?
I need to be careful what I put on here so apologies it’s a bit vague.
