Will I get paid this month ?

I started a new job mid month.
Will they pay me end of that month or the month after all together ?

There's no rule, you'll need to ask your employer

I don’t know what they’ll do but we would pay you for what you’ve worked this month on this month’s pay day. And every employer I have worked for has been the same.

Depends when exactly they run their payroll. My guess is that there's a good chance you'll get missed off this month, unfortunately.

Depends on what day you started and your companies cut off. eg my place has a cut off around the middle of the months - varies from about the 13th to 17th depending on where the weekends fall. So if they have your paperwork before the cut-off it goes through, otherwise it's carried over to the next month. I believe there is some leeway for hardship but that's what generally happens. But sure there is huge variation between companies.

Ask your line manager

At organisations where I've run payroll, often had a policy of offering a salary advance if they've joined too late in the month to be included on payroll.
_ eg calculate the net of what they would have earned in the two weeks, pay an advance close to that amount, and deduct it the following month when they have six weeks pay.
Not all employers will offer this - but maybe worth asking if it leaves you short.

You need to ask what the payroll cut off date was, you might have missed it, you might not have. Nobody on mumsnet will know this.

Our cut off for this month was 17th because the money goes into the bank on 23rd.

It really depends on the company.

I started a part time job mid month and they did not pay me at the end of that month. They were proposing I wait 6 weeks before getting paid. I rang payroll and told them if you dont pay me for the work Ive done I will not be in next week as I have no money for food and fares. They paid me next day. You just have to be assertive.
