Higher education sector or nhs...?

Currently employed for less than 2 years on an nhs fixed term contract funded via a charity. Have been looking to move potentially to the HE sector, do you consider this to be a relatively 'safe' at the moment.

Depends on what role in HE. My view would be that NHS is a safer bet generally, but its a mixed picture in HE currently. Saying that HE is hoping to be a lot safer than most private sector I'd guess.
