Hi,

I’m looking for some advice please. I’m working full time for a busy property builder whilst doing a full time law degree. My partner hasn’t been in his current job that long but has recently been promoted to a very senior position and is working extremely long hours but he earns a high salary and is the breadwinner. So now I am managing the household, the little one whilst working and studying and I’m extremely overwhelmed. My job role is demanding and Im taking on far more work then I should be beyond my qualifications. My boss has continually offered false promises of more support but nothing has ever materialised and I am consistently doing over and above my role. I’m on the verge of quitting as my mental health is suffering but I haven’t got another job lined up. We have just over my yearly salary in savings... what would you do?

I think my resigning your boss may finally do something.

Do you think you can start saying "no" to him. You work your set hours and not a minute more and just email him and state "sorry can't do x as don't have the knowledge"

It's worth doing rather than just resigning?
