I can't bare thinking about going back to work!

I'm currently on maternity leave after having my little girl who is now 6 months and although I still have 3 months left of my maternity I'm already getting really worked up about going back to work and leaving her. Every time we talk about it I just end up crying and frankly I'm sick of people telling me they're taking longer off or only going back 3 days because we can't afford to do that and it breaks my heart. I don't mean it personally to get angry when people tell me that cause I'd be doing that if we could, I'm just so bloody jealous.

Anybody else feel like this or can anyone tell me how everybody I speak to can afford to work part time except me?! :( or any money trees anybody knows of?

Just a different point of view - I did give up work to be a SAHM but trying to return to the workforce after a few years off was incredibly hard (and would be even harder now) - I ended up doing a job which luckily I love, but pays a tiny amount compared to what I earned before ... and the long term effects of paying into a pension etc are not to be underestimated.
