I was headhunted recently by smaller competitor in my field. Very lucky to receive a job offer. Pays over 20% more and promising not to overwork me and a small team. However I'm sceptical because i dont get how the company would grow and dont want to join a complete dud. They previously scrimped on resourcing and infrastructure so id have my work cut out. On the other hand they are valuing me more than my current company for the same job. I dont really want to go to my employer to ask for more (as they would say, ok bye, or treat me differently thereon.. has happened to others in past) I guess I know what my answer is but just wanted to write it out!
