Personal Profile on CV - would you always write this in the 3rd person?

It's ridiculous, I'm a writer and I'm really struggling and procrastinating over my own CV...

Mine is in the third person

No. We get loads of CVs and I don't like the ones in the third person. In fact I don't really like personal profiles. I like qualifications and experience.

yes you do it in the 3rd person so @Kim is an experienced operational manager and very adaptable having worked across the NHS and local government'

I have got a list of jobs/experience on page 2 but I was going to add a bit of blurb all about moi on the front page?

Oops, just what I prefer!

My personal preference is for the blurb type stuff to be in a covering letter where it would naturally work in the first person. Just something I've noticed in all the recruitment we've done lately - I prefer the CVs that get down to brass tacks quickly with evidence.

Interesting...Cheers Maggot. That would certainly make my life easier as am currently trying to cram all this 3rd person rubbish into a very small space!
