Hello everyone
I need some advice, please. I have just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant. Yay! However, my last job contract finished in November 2020. Since then I have been applying for everything in this tough job market. I just received an invite to interview for a position starting Feb on a fixed-term contract 9-12 months covering maternity leave. I know that I won’t be able to work the full contract if I did get the job. The problem is my partner and I could really do with the money but I am battling my conscience as if I were successful I would knowing enter a fixed term contract I cannot complete. I don’t want to create a difficult relationship with the employer. Help and advice please? This is my first baby.
