Morning! I’m looking into Shared Parental Leave/Pay (SPL SPP) and wondered if anyone here has used it and can help clarify some things.
I’m due on May 30th and as I’m teaching from home I’ve been told I could work right up to the 30th and start my MAT leave rhen (unless baby comes earlier). Half term starts on Friday 28th.
When would be the most beneficial time to use SPL? My first 4 weeks are full pay, 2 weeks at 90%, 12 weeks at 50% + SMP and then 21 weeks SMP.
