Uninstalling MS Team, then re-installing (linked to other email address instead). Help!

Can someone help me please! Getting quite desperate, nothing is working. Have even following guidance videos on you tube but my MS Team isn't having any of it!
The situation is that I currently have MS Teams downloaded and installed on my personal laptop BUT it's linked to my WORK email address (as I often WFH using personal laptop).
I need to uninstall it and reinstall with it linked to my personal email address INSTEAD of the work one.
I've uninstalled it so many times but when reinstalling it automatically comes back with my work email.
I have an interview on MS teams next week. They've sent the invite to my personal email (don't want work knowing about the interview), but the only way I can access MS Team is through my work account (the only it's letting me have).
How can I get around this?
If the problem can't be fixed, would it be appropriate for me to send a brief, carefully worded email to the interviewer explaining that my device is inexcrickably linked to my work MS Teams and, for privacy reasons, would it be possible to do the interview over Zoom instead?
Don't want the interviewer thinking I can't deal with software but I've tried everthing and nothing works.WWYD?

Could you do it on your personal phone instead? It’s not as good a picture but it should be acceptable quality.

I had a similar issue and I can get round it by copying the link into chrome then clicking continue on this browser.

I have multiple accounts on my Teams app. If you go to the menu there should be an option to 'Add Account' and just add the personal account there.

However you should be able to just sign out and sign in with a different account.

Have you got an MS Teams account in your personal email name? If you have you just sign out of your work account (click the picture of you, or initials, and 'sign out' is at the bottom). Then open Teams again and it asks for an email address.

Alternatively when you click on the link they've sent it will default to going to the web version rather than the app version so you could use the web.

Don't tell them you can't manage teams and they need to use zoom for you...

Thanks everyone! Much appreciated. So I think I've made to set it up in my personal email address but when I sign in, the "calendar" that should be there is missing from the left-hand side where it would normally appear.
I've just accepted the invite from the interviewer, but how can I double check it's all in order without having the option of clicking into my "calendar" to look at the date in question?

I agree, you don't need to uninstall it, just logout of the work email and log back in with home email.

Or using the web interface version of MSTeams definitely doesn't need any uninstall as it's all via your browser.

I think you go to the MS 0365 website and logon using personal email. You will need an account if you've never run it with your personal email before.

Also if they send you the link don't click on it, right click and copy, then paste into Chrome which is the most compatible browser, or MS Edge is fine.
