Does anybody know whether the hundred and however much SMP is these days is paid to you gross or net? Please tell me it isn't gross!

turtle SMP is taxable same as normal earnings so you may find some tax has been deducted when you get it, sorry!

That doesn't really answer your question does it? The statutory figure £112 or whatever it is now is gross of tax.
