Shielding letter

Does anyone know if you have to provide the shielding letter to your work or can I be furloughed without it? I have recently been diagnosed with an illness so didn't receive a letter first time round and haven't received one yet.

The letters this time are for far fewer conditions-you can request one via your GP if you think you have been missed off the list- but the conditions are more limited.

My DF is on his 3rd but my DH was removed in August- both have active cancer.

I’ve received one and work don’t ask to see it

We ask to see them (but no option to furlough staff).
