What can I do with a TEFL qualification

If I want to stay in the UK?
Years ago I did the CELTA intensive course and for a while taught night school and private clients. I largely did the course because I thought my DH (and is as a family) might get posted overseas again and it wold give me something to do there. He didn't. Now I'm wondering if there anything else I can do with this qualification. But in the uK. The big issue is foreign students aren't travelling here for language schools at the moment .
I also have a degree in history and a previous career as a journalist.
Ideas please!

Outside of my area of expertise, but I would have thought, with travel restricted, there would be a HUGE market for TEFL on-line at the moment ?

Think you're right. I just need to tap in and access.

Hi, my friend is a former journalist and did a tefl. She teaches refugees and asylum seekers English. Gets a lot of work from the local college. She says it pays well too. All on zoom at the moment but is hugely satisfied by it. Previously she was teaching kids abroad on zoom too. Have a search online x

Hey @Uggmugg that sounds great. I guess in a weird way the new virtual landscape has widened some opportunities.

I hear from a friend who does TEFL that there is a huge demand for teaching English to students in China via Skype.
