If your employer left you sat outside work for 2 hours because they decided to open up two hours later than normal without telling you.

How would you react?

I would be telling them I expect to be paid for those 2 hours and I would probably be looking for a new job.

I am looking for a new job (have been for a while) and I will be paid for the two hours. I'm just aghast at the lack of consideration.

If I was being paid for the two hours I wouldn't be bothered.

are you my boss?? Jokes aside it was shitty behaviour and they did apologise in a fashion. I just struggle with the lack of consideration for others as though their time is less important.

Were you standing outside in the cold? Or subject to unsuitable conditions?

I would have rung someone after fifteen minutes and if no answer - gone home.

Happened to me before in retail, manager was an hour late, we all went for breakfast and waited for her to arrive. Gor paid the hour. All good. Thought it was quite funnt
