Has anyone ever used a CV writing service?

I’m good at a lot of things, but sales is my Achilles heel and that includes selling myself, I’m facing a lot of rejection after being made redundant and I’ve tried everything. I’ve had it detailed, I’ve had it simplified, I’ve changed it to suit the job description, I’ve added cover letters but nothing.

Thankfully I’m alright at interviews! I just can’t get there 😩

Yes, my DH did - changes were subtle and he went from no interviews to lots. I couldn’t point out any big obvious changes they made but overall they improved it.

I used these when I moved from permanent to interim work. Not cheap but my updated CV (and LinkedIn profile) definitely 'promote' me as a potential candidate far better than my own previous efforts https://cvandinterviewadvisors.co.uk/

Thanks both! I’m sold then!

Why is it I can communicate about anything in writing except my own skill set.

I’ll start writing and think, oh that looks too braggy, then it’s not braggy enough arghhhh!
