Occupational health report

I have been off sick from my job for the past 10 months, in June I had an assessment with OH and I told them I was hoping to be back in Aug/Sept. This hasn't happened and now I'm hoping to be back January. Does it look bad that i didn't return when I said I would or is OH report more of a guide?

You’re (presumably) not a doctor. The OH and your own doctor are best-placed to predict when your health will improve, and if the OH thought it would be August/September and you then weren’t well enough, that doesn’t “look bad”. Presumably your doctor doesn’t think you are well enough yet.

I would be less worried about whether your own predictions are accurate and focus on getting yourself well enough to go back.
