Help me inspire my DH

Hi guys,

DH has been with Royal Mail for 15 years. They aren't great for training and offering further opportunities as one might assume. DH is fed up of it all and wants a change. He would like a good side hustle (we can pay for training) which could move into something full time over the years.

Can you inspire me with potential jobs/work/skills he could train in? Electrician etc? Not something that's requires a degree.

I am trying to cheer him up and see if we can look to something more exciting.

A good one might be plastering...they can earn well.

Oh good~ Plastering is quite skilled but it can be repetitive...it's better than painting and decorating though.

@FortunesFave he doesn't mind repetitive as he has nice eye for detail and is a lot neater than I am. A lot of his friends at work moonlight as shifts allow some flexibility. Will research training avenues. :-)

In the same vein, tiling

Plasterers are in high demand round here-we paid the last one £450 a day

I would suggest plastering too- It's DP's sideline and he can take and leave jobs as much as he likes. Plenty of courses around

My DH does some HGV driving around his main job (I think he just always wanted to drive a big truck as a child). He says he enjoys it.
