Hey ladies

I am interviewing for a role in Allen & Overy's Employment team soon, and was wondering if anybody has any first-hand experience of Allen & Overy (and a bonus if you've worked/know anyone who works in the Employment team who can share some pearls of wisdom!)

Particularly interested in flexible working, and pay/hours trade off?

Cheers

Ask on rof

I use the A&O employment team for specialist stuff. The two people I use there (Mark something and Paul McCarthy) are a sheer delight - very down to earth and good humoured.

That's interesting @HermioneWeasley. Do they run themselves into the ground? Always nice to hear of lawyers that are down to earth!!

I second ROF as a good place to ask. I know quite a few ex and current employees at a&o and they all seem lovely, commercial and very sharp. The firm also behaved exceptionally well towards one of them during a difficult time and I think that says a lot! Good luck OP.

I don’t know what their work life balance is like - they’re responsive on the rare occasions I need something urgently
