Is it time to move on?

How do you know when it is time to move jobs? How do you know when the time is right? I’ve had a good experience but am starting to think it might be time to move. Very nervous.

do you not enjoy your current job as much as you used to?

For me it’s usually because I have nothing more to learn in a particular role, but on one memorable occasion it was because someone else in the team was a complete dick and I had had enough. I want to enjoy going to work and when the people politics get too much I usually move on.

Thanks. The role is challenging but I’m still a bit bored....it’s been almost 10 years at the company doing multiple roles.

You'll feel better about staying if you at least shop around to consider alternatives. Would current company give you a good reference?

They would give me a good reference. I am keen to understand what has made people make the move and start applying. Did you feel nervous?
