It's been a long time since I was on maternity leave before having my son this year. So I know things may be different now but is it normal for work not to contact you at all even if you request it?
Been trying trying to get in touch with my manager for weeks. He was supposed to provide me with written confirmation of when I'm going back and what hours it will be but nothing.
Team leader said he'd chase it up over a week ago, still nothing. Now I'm trying to contact him to change my address and still no response.
Team leader assured me my job is secure and I know they are short staffed but I am getting increasingly pissed off that my manager never responds to calls or emails.
Is it standard practice to be ignored on maternity or is he just a shit manager? Any ideas on how I can get a confirmed start date and get my address changed?
