Website using Word Press - easy to use?

My friend has a website that her DS did for her using word press. She wants to alter it and make changes which Im happy to do.

Is it a matter of just getting the log in details and is it quite easy to use?

I use Wordpress at work to manage a website, I’m not a developer though. It’s fairly easy to use . Is there anything in particular you are wondering about?

It is easy to use, and doesn’t take long to pick up at all, even for someone completely new to anything like this. Also super satisfying - so immediate!!

Yep super easy to use, very intuitive. What are you trying to do?

It is easy to use at a basic level - adding / editing content...
It is more complex to use at a technical level (sorting out conflicting plugins / coding the template / tweaking / modifying / etc.)

Whatever else you do - absolutely mandatory that you keep the software and all plugins up to date - it is the most well known software online and therefore very often hacked... keeping it up to date is easy with built in tools - but lots of people don't do it...

Depends on the changes they wants.

I'm a developer I lived and breathed WP for a while before having DD, just helped someone out with their WP.com site and felt like I was bashing my head against the wall but then I was making changes that I guess the average user doesn't know how to do.

Im happy to do as used to cms useage etc but never used word press. Needs...

The images updating
New logo inserting
Homepage neefs new image and making it more appealing cour scheme
Another page adding
Text reviewing and changing

Is the above doable???

Images - should be easy
Logo - also should be easy
Homepage - image easy, colours scheme might be a bit harder depending on the theme and how much control you want
Adding page and text - should be fine, I'm getting very annoyed with the new editor though
