Work advice

Hello, I am new here.

I am a single mum to a beautiful girl and I am struggling with work since Covid hit. I used to work in the hotel industry as a cleaner, I loved my job and take real pride in what I do. When the hotel shut I lost my job and financially I am finding it hard to make ends meet.

My current clients are all based around Notting Hill and West London. I work every day from 9 to about 1 but in the afternoon I don't have enough jobs to fill the afternoon. I currently do the cleaning and dog walking for four lovely clients but I am finding it hard to get more work.

I am hard of hearing but lip read perfectly, and this absolutely doesn't affect my ability to clean or communicate with animals. I thought about doing some flyers and putting them around the houses, and with Covid I figure that if I cannot clean outside then I can continue walking dogs outside in the park. One of my clients posted for me on a neighbourhood add and suggested I reach out to the ladies on mumsnet for advice.

I would really appreciate some ideas, I guess i should develop my dog walking as I may not be able to clean if we enter another lockdown, I want to focus on West London as I am already there and would like to cut down on travel time.

I'd really welcome your thoughts.
Thanks Anna
