How does the pay work. I understand its £125 PW. Do we get paid in school holidays?

its for 18months, do you think it will take this long? I get every other friday at college?

If you can live on that wage then it's not an issue. TAs work term time only plus a 5 days training. Pay is spread over 12 months even though they work only 9 in a year. You'd have to check with your apprenticeship when and how you'd be paid.
TAs mainly learn on the job, some schools employs TAs and have NVQ schemes, so you get paid as a TA (average £15k a year)
