I've been in my job 3 years. Last year everyone else in my team pretty much left at the same time and I we recruited 2 more members of staff last August. One of these staff members and I have butted heads a couple of times since - the first was in February and I held my hands up and accepted responsibility for it.
About a month ago we were discussing something and it escalated - I was a bit snippy and she told me I was rude but when I tried to explain she wouldn't listen. I thought we'd cleared the air but she went to my manager's manager about it. We had a meeting and again cleared the air.
My manager called me in last week and said that she'd spoken to her again about a 'very minor incident' that happened last Monday. Because of this my manager asked me if I'd be prepared to work basically in a cupboard on a different site. It would be much more difficult for me to work at this other site with regards to the school run etc. I work part time around school hours.
When I asked why I was being singled out I was told it was because I hadn't come up with any things the other person could do differently or any things she did 'wrong' (because I'm a grown up and don't run to management every time anyone irritates me).
I said that I was upset that I was being made out to be the troublemaker as I was completely unaware of any 'incident' and neither my manager nor the practice manager will tell me what was supposed to have happened. I feel like I daren't speak to my colleague to try to clear the air.
I don't really know how to move forward from here.
