Just seeing if anyone on Mumsnet can give me any tips about where I can learn about budget management. Any basic courses online training perhaps. I previously was a team member and applied for the vacancy when the existing Manager left. I have never had to think about the department budget before!
Ideally I would like to learn about the financial terms like ratios etc! Really don’t know where to begin. So many things online seem to be too advanced. But I want to be comfortable with the basic terms. Is there anyone here who can give me tips or direct me to any courses they might have done. I will be the Manager for a local Council in London.
