Its a 20 minute break you're entitled to. It can be paid or unpaid

If your shift is exactly 6 hours not legally entitled to break, if longer you must get 20 minutes but it can't be at beginning or end of shift, break doesn't need to be paid

So if you work 9-3 no break if you work 9-5 you must legally have at least 20 minutes but it can't be 9- 9.20 or finishing 20 minutes early you can't do more than 6 hours so with 9-5 your break if only 1 break can't be earlier than 10. 40 or later than 3pm

No you are not entitled to a break in law. If you worked over 6 hours you would be entitled to twenty minutes unpaid break.
