Hi, i know 26 is sool young so ill explain.
From the age of 20 my main focus was to become a nurse, i did all my gsces due to not completing at school and then carried on to complete an access to healthcare.
In 2018 i started university, from the very start i had issues and maybe i should have stepped off but university dont allow you this to be done easily ( i feel ive been almosy forced to stay with very little emotional support)
Anyway long story short at Christmas i became very depressed and suicidal but the hospital jkept pushing alongside university for me to carry on. So i am due to qualify soon but this whole experience has made me detest the NHS and my university for that matter to the extent i cannot carry on any longer and i wont complete my degree.
But i have no idea where to go from here or how to start again? Just looking for advise from anyone who has made the decision to change career

Sounds like you’ve been through a really bad time! Have you thought of doing something more behind the scenes in healthcare, there are a lot of really good careers in the admin side. If you did something like Business Administration, and joined your local trust’s admin bank, it’s not all just ward, clinic or patient based, you can work in areas like Communications, HR, Events and work your way up to a Band 8 if you wanted to.
