I have just been offered a new role in a different trust. I have submitted all my paperwork, but just wondering how long the process will take?

Up to 3 months.
DBS seems to be the sticking point. Checks on everything, waiting for references to come back can take ages. The whole process is very slow.

This, believe it or not, is still true if you are simply moving from one dept in your Trust to another.

5 months for me. Two of those months were my notice period in my old job. I was advised not to give notice until all checks etc were back.
