Getting a sick note

Ive never gone sick at work before so not sure how getting sick pay works if anyone can help me? Ive just got a 2 week sick note from the dr. Because im part time ill just get ssp, so wont be paid for the first 3 days, but is it the first 3 days after i hand it in or the first 3 paid working days? Tia

I believe it's the first 3 working days from the date of the sick note.

It’s the first 3 days you would normally work.
