Redundancy and My Belongings

I was made redundant in May with my final leave date being June. I have asked twice now when I can receive or collect my belongings. My last email was 10 days ago and still no response. I'm getting a little peeved, as I used to teach an activity and have my things there for that, which I now cannot use after lockdown because they're still in the building. I have sent back their laptop and their mobile phone, yet I'm getting no responses. What is an appropriate length of time to expect receive your property after the relationship with your employer is over?

There is no answer to that question. Is the place where they are actually open? If so I would just rock up and take them. If it isn't then that may be considerably more complicated as you may not be able to get them to open a workplace just for that reason.

How have you been asking? Easy to ignore emails and texts- have you actually spoken to a person?

If it’s open I’d just turn up.
