Work have had to halve my hours due to lack of client work (events and congresses) so although I would like to stay for the next 6 months part time to see how it pans out I also need to up my income.
There are quite a few admin jobs advertised near me and they state part time/flexi time/homeworking with no core hours.
I’m just wondering how flexi and what they class as part time? So could I for example log on at 7am for a couple of hours and then again in the afternoon? Could I work from the office 2 afternoons a week? I don’t want to apply if it’s not as flexible as I think!!

It really depends on which department. They will all have their own rules, but may be similar. In my office hours are between 7am and 9pm. but hours are worked over 4 weeks. So full time is 148 hours over 4 weeks with a minimum of 3 hours per day and a maximum of 12 hours per day. Minimum part time is 16 hours per week. We used to be office based but for last 4 months we are all WFH with no likelihood of going back to the office any time soon.
