Quick Civil Service application question

I'm applying for a role which closes tonight and it says that to pass security checks I'll need to have resided in the UK continuously for the past 3 years, and have I been a resident for the past 3 years.

I'm just one month off the 3 years, so by the time it comes to security checks if I got that far it'll no doubt be 3 years! But I'm scared that by answering yes I'm entering false information. Anyone know how hard a line they take with it?

Oh, and I wouldn't be able to take up the job for 2 months, by which time I'll be well over the 3 year threshold. So my only concern is whether I'll be viewed as having entered false information, which I definitely don't want to do Confused

I would definitely say you’ve got the three years.

Thanks, I've done it so hopefully it won't be an issue!
