Hi there,
I'm applying for a Level 1 admin job for the first time and I feel like I am a bit confused about how I should word the supporting statement. I have a degree relating to the role with a specialised module relating to the role as well as 3 years of work experience. So far, it's been following the essential qualifications + brief how I used to do this. Not quite in a STAR format as it is only 600 words and there's 7 essential qualifications and 3 desirable ones I meet.
Also, I understand the CS now do success profiles but for some reason, this role says it follows a competency framework for the questions. I mean, success profiles are a form of competency testing? Or do I have to look at the old competency framework.
"We use a competency framework.....in a huge range of jobs overseas."
Competencies are the skills, knowledge and behaviours that lead to successful performance. Our framework outlines ten competencies and two international competencies, which are grouped into four clusters: Setting Direction, Engaging People, Delivering Results and International competencies."
How do I find these 12 competencies so that I can find examples of them. There's only 3 questions in the application form so I understand more will be asked later?
Also, the desirable qualifications list French at a proficient and I can read and speak it but just to a B1/Intermediate level. How should I word it to my benefit? I am currently learning to get to B2 level but wouldn't say I am completely fluent in it.
Also.. I am disabled but I don't want to disclose it on the list. I don't think with this role I would get a guaranteed interview. It didn't mention this when I clicked it but I changed my mind. I think it would be better to just inform it if I get the job.
