NHS pension scheme

I will be joining in a band 4 role (non medical). I have had no info on how the pension scheme works. Is it auto enroll and what are the contributions?

I did and I think it came out as 9.3%

I think all pensions are now auto enroll unless you can show you have an alternative in place.

Had a look and I appear to be in the 7.1% bracket. Will the NHS match this rate with their contribution then?

I am afraid I don't know that. I just Googled it!
I think you will have to ask the people offering you the position.
