I went back to college and did a Medical Secretaries diploma (2 years full time). Much nicer job as 9 to 5, but worse pay and same level of stress.

Thank you for your suggestions.
Does anyone know what would happen to my registration if I took a job for a year as a band 4? (It’s a training opportunity). I have phoned the NMC but she really didn’t sound like she understood me/knew what she was talking about

Nothing, so long as you meet the criteria when you are due/plan to revalidate.
