Civil service interview

Hallo

I've got a civil service interview coming up. I think I'm okay on behaviours, but with strength based questions should I only use work based examples? Am thinking things like what's the most exciting thing you've ever done?

Likewise with any warm up questions that aren't scored, should I try to make 'what do you do outside work ' (or whatever) relevant to the job?

Any advice much appreciated

Look up the civil service competency framework. All questions will be based on the competencies (or functional competencies depending on role) it’s also worth answering them in the STAR (Situation, task, action, result) format with most focus on the A completed by you.
