Hi i recently had 2 seizures at home. I've had every test going and they cant definitely say its epilepsy or diagnose it. my employer has sacked me as I'm incapable of doing my job now I'm disabled. do i need to inform the dvla or will my doctors already have done that

Thanks

Sounds a bit premature to sack you for only 2 seizures or to assume it’s a disability. What’s your job?

In terms of DVLA you should do it, rather than rely on your doctor to do so.

You have to inform the dvla yourself. You will be able to reapply for your licence when you've been seizure free for a period of time. Then every few years you have to renew your licence. Check out epilepsy action, they've got lots of info on there
