Occupational health report - what happens next

Hi I had a telephone meeting with occupational health nearly 2 weeks ago. They sent the report to my manager but I haven't heard anything back from her yet. Im due back at the end of this month on hopefully a phased return.
Also on my report there is a error with my illness, does this matter or is the report more to do with helping me back to work rather than the illness itself.

I'd send an email to occ health and cc your manager detailing any significant errors with your illness...
This may prompt your boss...
If not I'd chase after the 15th so you know what doing... However holiday season may be causing delays

@happytoday73 the occupational health report is on a website, I can't find an email address or any contact details for them.

Have OH recommended gradual return and on what terms?

The programme has to work for the employer too but IME, unless it's very difficult for them to accommodate or goes on for months before you're fully back (which if necessary would suggest you're not fit to be back at all) they'll just go with the recommended gtw.

@FinnyStory they have recommended a phased return of 6 weeks, increasing my hours a bit each week

I'd just go along with that. It's poor that your boss hasn't been in touch. Can you contact them?

riverdale2020 · 05/08/2020 17:43

@FinnyStory yeah will give her a call next week, makes me feel even more anxious about returning now knowing she has seen the report and not contacted me to discuss it.

It might just be she's waiting in HR advice. Ours take an age, especially at this time of year when a lot are off with their children.

@FinnyStory ok thats good to know

Thank you
