Anyone know what the civil service security clearance check involves

So I am going for a role that involves civil service security clearance, exh has a conviction for assault against me, will this come up?

Not sure if it wasnt you who was convicted. It's quite a involved check and they need a lot of info. What comes back I have no idea and in 16 years I have only known I passed it. No one gets to see the details even managers

Security Check (SC)- that's really helpful everyone

Has anyone completed an online security form recently. For CTC and SC how long do you need to give in regards to past addresses and employment history last 5 years last 10 years or all history
