How to get excited

I have handed my notice in this week. I have a new job to go to but I don't feel excited. I feel sad to be leaving my current job. Really sad.

I work in a team of 6 people. I loved it then 4 of them left to be replaced by horrible people, including my manager.

Myself and the last remaining team member are gutted.

I think I miss what it used to be and need to get it in my head that what it was is not there anymore so there is nothing to miss.

Any tips on how to 'grieve' for my old job and get excited for my new one?

Xxx

Hi, I'm in a similar position, I'm moving on for financial/security reasons and keep crying!

I think you just have to give yourself time. You don't have to be excited - you have to be professional and competent.

I've been really honest with many people it is a practical decision.

I hope it works out though, long term Flowers
