DH has just been laid off and told he can have a month full pay or three months 80% furlough.
Of course the second makes more sense. There’s not much Work going at the moment unfortunately, anyone know if he found a job now if he’d still The furlough?
He might be able to get some low paid shift work / casual work which wouldn’t be better paid that the 80% furlough money.

You can have a second job on furlough so I don't see why not. You would pay a lot of tax for any months you were effectively earning 2 salaries though

yep you are allowed to be on furlough and have a job. yes there would be tax to pay but you'd still be better off.
