Civil Service Application HELP

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could help me? I'm in the process of applying for an EO job on the civil service recruitment website. As part of the application form I have to demonstrate the following competencies:

A) Making effective decisions (this is the lead competency).

B) Communicating and Influencing.

If I'm honest, I really struggled to come up with examples for both, especially for the first one.

I just wanted someone experienced on here to check my answers and give me further guidance? I would really appreciate any help.

If you don’t have a scenario that actually happened (I mean who does?!) you may need to think more creatively. But realistically.

I’m a HEO in a Civil Service Department. I write down all my “scenarios” before the interview and practise beforehand.
