Would I be mad to give up my 9-3 term time job for 2 nights per week?

My kids are 12 and 15 so old enough to cope during the day without me. However we are getting a puppy 😬. I work in a nursery and love my job but hate the management and I am sick of how they treat me. I also want to reduce my hours/days so I have more time to myself and our new puppy. However I've not done nights before so wondering if il regret it 😔

I'm currently not working for various reasons, however when I did work I much preferred nights. It meant I never missed out on anything to do with the kids and I never had a problem sleeping during the day.
